Daniel, a former World Vision Kenya Operations Director as well as the recent former chair of Vision SACCO and currently the Vice Chair as well as the Chair of the Maono Housing Cooperative has a passion for equipping people and communities to improve their general wellbeing through the effective and quality usage of available resources.
As the Operations Director, Daniel was able to grow the portfolio of World Vision Kenya as well as improve the quality of staff working in various programmes and projects. As the Chair of the Housing Cooperative that was formed 3 years ago, Daniel has enabled the cooperative to acquire properties for members in Kamulu, Narok, Kisumu, and Kajiado. Members are buying the properties to improve their portfolio. Currently the asset base stands at over 450 million shillings with membership of 580.
Daniel graduated from the University of Nairobi with a degree in Agriculture Engineering with a Master’s degree from Eastern University in Organization leadership as well as other courses in the field of development. He has travelled widely gathering a wealth of experience in community and international development as well as Cooperative leadership. Daniel and his family live in the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya.
